Dr. Ash Srikanthan DC, Hon. BSc.
Hi, I’m Dr. Ash!
I’m excited to be part of this clinic and to share a little about my journey with you. My passion for chiropractic care stems from a deep interest in research, sports therapy, and holistic patient care.
I started my academic journey at the University of Waterloo, where I had the privilege of being taught by Dr. Stuart McGill, a world-renowned expert in spine biomechanics and many other amazing researchers there. This inspired me to dive into research projects, including exercise programs for cancer patients and exercise program for dialysis patients to improve their quality of life.
Later, I had the opportunity to volunteer with Dr. David Jenkins and his team, the creator of the glycemic index at St.Michael’s Hospital, which deepened my understanding of the vital connection between nutrition and health.
As I pursued chiropractic care, I was fortunate to be taught by incredible professionals in sports chiropractic. These experiences shaped my passion for treating sports injuries and optimizing athletic performance.
I’ve worked with soccer teams, helping athletes aged 7–18 with injury prevention, rehabilitation, and performance strategies. I’ve also had the privilege of working with diverse populations, including individuals with chronic pain, developing personalized treatments that reduce pain and improve mobility.
My goal is to combine evidence-based care with a personalized approach to help you feel and perform your best. Whether you’re managing an injury, dealing with chronic pain, or striving for better wellness, I’m here to support you every step of the way.
I look forward to working with you and helping you achieve your health goals!
